Terms, Rules and Rental Conditions

  1. Responsibility

    The renter (customer) assumes full responsibility for the rented equipment and its proper use.

  2. Insurance / Complete Risk Coverage “Sports SafetyW

    The rental equipment is not insured. A complete risk coverage “Sports Safety” can be purchased at a rate of 10% of the rental cost.

    • With risk coverage: damage is fully covered by the renter (100%), loss or theft is covered by the renter with 75%.
    • Without risk coverage: in case of total loss or theft, the renter must pay compensation according to the following scale:
      Ski & Snowboard: Diamond € 1,000; Platinum € 650; Gold € 400; Silver € 300
      Ski boots: Standard € 200; Platinum € 350
      Ski poles: € 40
  3. Damage and Repairs

    Partial damage without “Complete Risk Coverage” will be charged to the renter according to the valid repair price list. Damage caused by negligence or intent will also be charged in full to the renter according to the shop’s current repair rates.

  4. Reporting Obligations

    In case of theft or loss of the equipment, the renter must immediately report the incident to the local police and provide proof of the report.

  5. Exchange of Equipment

    An exchange of equipment within the same category is possible at any time. An upgrade to higher-value equipment is possible against payment of the price difference. Downgrades do not entitle the renter to a refund.

  6. Rental Period and Return

    • The rental equipment must be prepaid for the entire agreed rental period.
    • The latest return time is 9:00 a.m. on the day following the end of the rental.
    • If the equipment is not returned within 7 days of the end of the rental period, it will be reported as stolen to the police.
  7. Early Return
  8. The equipment may be returned before the end of the rental period. In this case no refund will be granted. Refunds are only possible in case of illness and/or accident with presentation of a valid medical certificate.

  9. Safety and Binding Release Settings (ISO)

    For the rental of alpine skis and bindings, we adopt the ISO-Norm settings

    Online bookings: The renter enters their body data (e.g., height, weight, age) and skiing level during checkout. Our ISO-certified software calculates the binding release value (“Z value”) in accordance with the applicable ISO standard.

    On-site rentals (without online booking): The renter checks in via mobile device and provides the same data; our certified program calculates the Z value.

    The bindings are set according to the calculated Z value in line with the relevant ISO standard and applicable regulations.

  10. Validity of Agreement

    The rental agreement is only valid after payment by credit card, or deposit of the value of the rented equipment in cash, and/or provision of a valid ID for the full rental period.

  11. Cancellation Policy

    Optional cancellation cover can be added to the booking.

    • With cancellation cover: bookings can be cancelled up to 2 days before pick-up.
    • Without cancellation cover: cancellation free of charge is not possible.
  12. Legal Framework

    This agreement is subject to the laws of the rental country.

    • For business customers, the exclusive jurisdiction is the competent court at the rental company’s registered office.
    • For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction according to EU law applies.
  13. Data Protection (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679)

    Privacy and Data Processing (EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR). The personal data provided by the customer will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    The data will not be transferred to third parties except where required for payment processing or legal obligations.
    Data will be stored only for the period necessary to fulfil the contract and legal obligations.
    The renter has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object to processing of personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.

  14. Final Clause

    By completing the online booking or the digital check-in, the renter declares acceptance of these Terms, Rules and Rental Conditions, which are legally binding.
