Safe is Safe.
Simply book the Carefree Package insurance together with the equipment and enjoy carefree holidays. The rate is 10% of the rental cost and covers the costs for damage & repair of rented equipment (to 100%) and theft (to 75%).

The cancellation insurance guarantee offers an immediate refund of the amount charged in case of cancellation of your holidays or change of the booking dates without any surcharge. If you book online, the money-back guarantee is included free of charge! (valid up to two days before pick-up date)

Terms, Rules and Rental Conditions

1. Renter’s Responsibility

The renter assumes full responsibility for the rented equipment, including its proper use, care, and return.

2. Liability Agreement – “Carefree Package”

The rental equipment is generally not insured. A Liability Agreement “Carefree Package” can be purchased for an additional 10% of the rental fee.

  • With Carefree Package:
    • Damage (breakage, defect) → covered 100% by the rental shop
    • Loss/Theft → covered 75% by the rental shop
  • Without Carefree Package:

    In case of total damage or loss, compensation will be charged according to the current price list:

    • Ski & Snowboard – Diamond: € 1,000
    • Platinum: € 650
    • Gold: € 400
    • Silver: € 300
    • Ski boots: Standard € 200 / Platinum € 350
    • Ski poles: € 40

3. Damages and Repairs

  • For partial damages without Carefree Package, repair costs will be charged according to the valid repair price list.
  • Negligence, misuse, or intentional damage is fully at the renter’s expense and not covered by the liability agreement.

4. Reporting Obligation for Loss or Theft

In case of theft or loss, the renter must immediately file a police report and provide a written confirmation.

5. Exchange of Equipment

  • Exchange within the same category is possible at any time free of charge.
  • Upgrade to a higher category is allowed by paying the price difference.
  • Downgrade to a lower category does not entitle to a refund.

6. Rental Period, Payment & Return

  • The rental fee must be paid in advance.
  • Latest return: 09:00 a.m. the following day.
  • After 7 days of delay, the equipment will be reported as stolen.
  • Failure to return the equipment may result in a theft report filed by the rental shop.

7. Early Return

An early return is always possible, but a refund of the rental fee is only granted in case of illness or accident with a valid medical certificate.

8. Cancellation / Cancellation Protection

  • With cancellation protection: free cancellation up to 2 days before pickup.
  • Without protection: no free cancellation possible.

9. Binding Adjustment & Safety (ISO Standard)

  • Ski bindings are adjusted according to current ISO standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • The release value (Z-value) is calculated using certified software based on personal data and skiing ability.
  • By completing the digital check-in, the customer confirms the accuracy of the data and accepts the binding adjustment according to ISO standards.

10. Contract Conclusion & Deposit

The rental agreement becomes legally binding upon online booking or digital check-in. A valid ID and credit card are required as security.

11. Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data are processed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 – GDPR). Data are used exclusively to fulfill the contract and will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.

12. Applicable Law / Place of Jurisdiction

Italian law applies. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction according to EU law applies; for business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Bolzano (BZ).

13. Final Provisions

By completing the online booking, signature, or digital check-in, the renter declares agreement with these terms as legally binding.
