Located in the heart of the Dolomites – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – it is part of the legendary Dolomiti Superski, the world’s largest ski carousel with over 1,200 km of connected slopes.

The valley boasts 181 km of perfectly groomed slopes and 79 modern lifts, ideal for beginners, intermediates, and experts alike. Among the most famous runs are the Saslong (World Cup slope) and La Longia, stretching for more than 10 km. For thrill-seekers, the new slopes La Ria (black, challenging) and Pilat (red, panoramic forest descent) offer extra adrenaline. Thanks to 98% snowmaking coverage, snow is guaranteed from December to April. With direct access to the spectacular Sellaronda and the Alpe di Siusi, Val Gardena promises a truly complete world-class ski experience.

Val Gardena welcomes skiers of every level. Our Silver rental category is specifically designed for beginners and casual skiers, so you can enjoy the mountain right from your first day.

Yes. Val Gardena has direct access to the Sellaronda circuit and is part of Dolomiti Superski, the world’s largest connected ski area with over 1,200 km of slopes. Once you’ve picked up your equipment in Selva or Santa Cristina, you can reach the lifts leading into the Sellaronda within minutes.

No, the ski rental price covers only your equipment (skis, snowboard, boots and accessories, depending on your booking). Lift passes are sold separately by the local ski lift companies and are not part of our rental service.

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks before your arrival, especially if you want a specific model. Booking early guarantees that the exact ski or snowboard you want will be waiting for you – during peak periods like Christmas, New Year or February, popular models and sizes can otherwise already be taken.

Yes. Besides alpine skis and snowboards, Intersport Val Gardena also offers cross-country skis, touring skis, and snowshoes, so you can explore the valley beyond the pistes. Just let us know your plans when booking, and we’ll prepare the right equipment for your adventure.

Yes, alongside skis, snowboards and boots, we also offer ski clothing rental, so you can travel light and still hit the slopes fully equipped.

Our free boot fitting with foot analysis is included when you buy new ski boots. For rental boots we don’t do an individual foot fitting, but we offer various models with narrow, medium and wide fit, so you’re sure to find a boot that’s comfortable and gives you good control on the slopes. We also offer modern boots with a Boa lacing system and the new Atomic rear-/center-entry models, which are especially easy to put on and provide maximum comfort.

Yes. As part of the valley-wide ‘SpringSkiing Val Gardena Family’ initiative (mid of March till April), guests booking at least 7 nights in a participating accommodation get a package of family benefits across the whole valley – including a free lift pass for children up to 8 years, a 30% discount for teens up to 18, a free day of ski school, and with Intersport, 1 free day of ski rental on a 6-day booking. Yes, absolutely. Our Santa Cristina rental point is just a short distance from Ortisei/St. Ulrich. Simply stop by on your arrival to try on your equipment, and we’ll then deliver everything directly to your accommodation.

Yes, of course. Since we also sell ski boots and skis, you can first rent your favorite model and try it out. If you like it, you can then buy the exact same model brand new – with a fit guarantee.
