Via Ferrata Tridentina – Pisciadù

The via ferrata follows a series of ledges, ledges, and passages equipped with ladders and steel ropes, offering strong emotions and a rewarding challenge. The highlight of this adventure is the summit of the Piscadù, which reaches an altitude of around 2985 metres. From here, climbers are rewarded with spectacular views of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites, including the Sella group and the Marmolada massif.

The Via Ferrata Tridentina al Piscadù is considered intermediate level and is ideal for those with good via ferrata experience. It is important to wear the appropriate climbing equipment and to follow all safety measures. Via Ferrata Oskar Schuster Steig – Plattkofel

The starting point of the via ferrata is the Rifugio Vicenza, located at an altitude of around 2.256 metres, nestled between the imposing rock faces of Sassopiatto. From here, mountaineers embark on a vertical challenge through a breathtaking landscape. The ascent is considered to be of medium difficulty. However, every effort is rewarded by the spectacular panoramic view of Val Gardena and the surrounding peaks. The summit of the Sasso Piatto (Sasplat), which reaches an altitude of around 2,995 metres, is the highlight of this alpine adventure.

Via ferrata Sas Rigais

Before you start the ascent, you can take a short panoramic walk with views of the spectacular hostage. The entrance to the via ferrata Sas Rigais is at the foot of the Sass Rigais, west of the pass. This via ferrata is quite long and is aimed at moderately experienced climbers. Among the more demanding challenges, however, you will also find more accessible sections where you can enjoy the view without special equipment. The panorama that opens up from Sass Rigais is simply extraordinary and the experience will be unforgettable.

Climbing the sky 3025 metres above the sea is a feeling that only the Via Ferrata Sas Rigais can offer.

Via Ferrata Furcela de Saslonch

The adventure begins on foot: The approach takes you hiking up the Langkofel Scharte until you reach the starting point of the via ferrata. From there, you dive into the sporty climb. The route tops out directly below the striking Punta delle Cinque Dita (Five Fingers Peak). From the exit, you descend to the nearby Toni-Demetz Hut, which is the perfect spot for a well-deserved break. For the return trip to the valley, the choice is yours: you can either hike back down through the Scharte or enjoy a relaxing ride in the iconic little pulse gondola (bidonvia).

Despite the physical challenge, the entire loop can be completed in about three and a half hours. Thanks to this manageable duration, this modern via ferrata is an ideal choice for a half-day tour.

Via Ferrata Gran Cir

What makes the Great Cir particularly attractive is the short approach and the overwhelming panorama from the summit. You can hardly get enough of the surrounding mountains: To the west, the view stretches as far as the Ortler, the highest mountain in South Tyrol, to the south rises the mighty Sella massif, and to the east you can marvel at the impressive Dolomite giants Tofana, Antelao, Civetta and many more.

This unique geographical position makes the Great Cir a popular destination to experience the sunrise or sunset.

Via Ferrata delle Mesules

This ferrata is demanding and alpine in character, suitable for experienced hikers. It requires good physical fitness, no fear of heights, and sure-footedness. The route alternates between sections equipped with cables and ladders and unprotected terrain, where progression involves easy but exposed climbing on rock. Some of the initial passages are particularly delicate due to exposure and discontinuous protection.
After the first section, you reach the Mesules Plateau, a vast and isolated area that is one of the most distinctive features of the route. From there, the path continues along the final part of the via ferrata up to the summit.
From the top, there is a wide panoramic view over the Sella Group and the surrounding Dolomites, extending toward the Sassolungo massif and the main peaks of the area.
The Via Ferrata delle Mesules is a long, varied, and highly rewarding ascent, one of the most iconic routes in the Sella Group, recommended for well-prepared hikers with experience on demanding via ferratas.

Via Ferrata Piccolo Cir

The route starts from Gardena Pass (2121 m), with an approach along a well-marked trail toward the upper station of the Dantercepies cable car and then on a steep path across rocky terrain up to the start (about 30 minutes).
The ferrata begins with easy rocky passages that quickly become more exposed. You pass a metal ladder and several well-gripped rock steps, alternating between vertical and diagonal sections on solid rock. A small panoramic terrace offers a short rest before the final section.
The last part follows a scree path and then climbs a diagonal wall along a well-protected but exposed crack, leading to the summit of Piccolo Cir (2520 m), with wide views over the Sella Group and the Odle peaks.
The descent is either along the ascent route or, more commonly recommended, via a protected gully that leads back down to a scree path and then returns to Gardena Pass.

Via Ferrata Col Rodella

The approach is incredibly convenient: by taking the cable car from Campitello di Fassa to the top station, you walk slightly downhill towards the Rodella Hut. From there, a marked trail leads to the start of the cables at the base of the south wall in just 10 to 15 minutes.

The via ferrata itself covers a modest elevation gain but is vertical and engaging. The route is excellently equipped with steel cables and numerous iron stemples. The climb starts abruptly with a vertical wall that requires some upper-body strength, followed by a mix of exposed sections and comfortable ledges to catch your breath. The crux is a steep corner-crack, after which you climb easier rocks leading directly to the summit cross.

The descent is quick and safe: a comfortable path winds down the opposite grassy slope, bringing you back to the cable car or the hut in just a few minutes.
