Val Gardena: Bike Park and Flow Trail in the Enchanting Scenery of the Dolomites

Val Gardena is a mountain biker’s paradise, offering a number of exciting trails, including the Ciampinoi freeride trail and Dantercepies variable flow trails, within the Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi area.

There is nothing more rewarding than experiencing “flow” amidst the majestic scenery of the Dolomites. The combined use of the Dantercepies, Cir, Piz-Seteur chairlift and Ciampinoi gondola, set in a unique mountain landscape, offers every cyclist a vast playground where they can fully immerse themselves in the natural, feel-good sensation of “flow.”

The Ciampinoi freeride trail will get adrenaline flowing through the veins of even the most experienced bike park riders. The course meanders through the forest, with parabolic curves, steep passages, and offers a sequence of roller-coaster-like climbs and descents, with even a few jumping opportunities for the more daring. There is no shortage of sections with northshore elements for an added challenge.

The Dantercepies cable car is easily reached using the Costabella chairlift and a short descent to the Dantercepies valley station. From the Dantercepies top station, you can admire the striking Sella massif rising like a giant rock castle. From here begins the “Cir Trail Tiera,” a 1,600-meter trail that begins with a pump track section and winds its way naturally to the middle station of the Dantercepies cable car. Equally exciting is the “Cir Trail Giara,” with tight curves and bumps, which leads cyclists to the Gardena Pass through the picturesque slopes of the Dolomite alpine pastures.

On the opposite side of the valley, the Piz Seteur gondola and the Gran Paradiso chairlift offer access to the “family trail” and the “easy jump line,” two ideal routes for a complete mountain biking experience suitable for the whole family.

In short, this bike park is truly phenomenal!
