Two passes, twice the biking fun
By e-bike: Starting in Selva di Val Gardena, the tour climbs towards the Dantercepies mountain station. This first section follows the course of the world-famous Südtirol Sellaronda HERO mountain bike race, with one important difference: the 6 kilometres and 650 metres of elevation gain are tackled on an e-bike. The Cir Trail leads to Passo Gardena. After a descent and a short climb, the route reaches Chalet Gerard and continues along a former ski slope to Miramonti. From gravel, the tour moves onto asphalt. As Passo Sella is closed to motor traffic on this day, you can enjoy the Dolomite passes and their scenery in peace. After lunch at Passo Sella Mountain Resort, the route crosses the fascinating City of Stones and reaches the famous Comici hut. A new trail then leads towards Monte Pana and, via La Selva, back to Selva di Val Gardena. It is one of the most varied tours of the week.
By mountain bike: The route remains the same, but the Dantercepies cable car is used for the first section up to 2,300 metres.
