For rental, we use Burton Step-On R Bindings, a model specifically designed for rental use, featuring tool-free adjustments and a construction similar to the Burton Re:Flex bindings.
For boots, we provide the Burton Step-On Boa® R Boot, which is very similar in fit and performance to the Burton Ruler Step-On boot.

If you are looking for a non-Burton automatic snowboard binding, we offer sales only (not rental) of:

  • Nidecker Supermatic

  • Clew Independence 1

These automatic bindings work with any standard snowboard boot, so no specific Step-On boot is required. They can be purchased at our INTERSPORT NIVES snowboard shop in Selva di Val Gardena or via our online shop:

Yes, in our snowboard rental we offer equipment with Burton Step-On® bindings. This practical and fast system allows you to step into your snowboard without straps, simply by clicking in with the heel first and then the toe of the boot. It is a comfortable and safe solution, suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.

Advance booking of the ski lockers is recommended, especially during high season. Lockers can be rented for 1 or multiple days. Full price list are available here: https://www.valgardenasport.com/en/services/ski-locker/#prices

Check-in on the first day is guaranteed from late afternoon. During high season, our ski rental customers have priority.

The ski lockers consist of heated compartments, ideal for storing and drying your ski equipment safely.
Each locker can hold:

  • 2 pairs of adult skis (+ 1 pair for children up to 1.10 m)
  • 2 pairs of adult ski boots (+ 1 pair for children)
  • 3 helmets, gloves, poles, and other accessories

The heated system ensures that boots, gloves, and helmets are always dry and ready to use.

The ski lockers are located in front of the Ciampinoi valley station, next to the ski pass office. You can access them with a ski pass or magnetic card activated by Intersport Val Gardena.

Yes! We provide a home delivery service for ski and snowboard equipment.

How it works:

  1. Online booking – Book your equipment through our online reservation system.
  2. In-store fitting – Before delivery, visit the shop (between 08:00 and 19:00) to try on boots and adjust skis, helmet, and poles. Here, you also specify your delivery location.
  3. Delivery to accommodation – After the fitting, we deliver the equipment free of charge to your accommodation in Val Gardena. Delivery can also take place in the evening (after 19:00) or by 08:15 the next morning.

Yes! With us, you can test the skis for 2 days for free. If you decide to buy them, you can take them home directly from our ski shop. This way, you can personally try the skis on the slopes and confidently choose the right model for you.

You can reserve either the ski category or directly a specific model online.

Our highly experienced staff, who are skiers themselves, are experts and will select the ideal ski length for you based on the physical data provided (height, weight, and skill level).

If you still wish to book a specific length, you can indicate this in the “Special Requests” field when finalizing your booking. We will take your preference into account when preparing your equipment.

After you have selected the equipment for your holiday, you can finalize the booking by entering the necessary invoicing details. Immediately after entering your personal information, you will find the section “Special Requests”, where you can freely add your questions or specify any additional requests regarding the rental.

How to Book a specific ski or snowboard model:

  • Visit our online rental shop at www.valgardenasport.com.
  • Select your desired rental shop and rental period.
  • You will immediately find all available equipment categories listed below.

To book a specific model (ski or snowboard), do not click the “BOOK CATEGORY” button, but rather the text “BOOK MODEL” located immediately to its left. This will open the complete selection of all available models within the chosen category.

What is the difference between Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond ski category?2025-12-13T20:53:22+01:00

Our Silver skis are solid all-mountain models that guarantee lots of fun on the slopes, especially for beginners and children. For advanced skiers and riders who place a lot of value on the material, we recommend the Gold or Platinum rental class. These ski models are one quality level higher and convince with very good material and ingenious design. In addition, these ski categories give you the opportunity to change models for free after a few runs and thus try out different skis. One step above is the Diamond class, our high-end skis. Here, for example, you can expect the top models of the performance hand made ski brands: Van Deer-Red Bull Sports, Blossom and Stöckli.

Switching between skis and snowboard is free of charge if you have chosen the rental class Gold, Platinum or Diamond. So you can switch between the two sports equipment as often as you like during your skiing vacation. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the Silver rental class.

Yes, we offer the delivery of skis, snowboards, ski boots, etc.. The rental equipment reserved online will be delivered directly to your accommodation at the vacation destination. This makes your sports vacation in the mountains even more comfortable!

IMPORTANT: come to our ski rental shop upon arrival in Val Gardena, so you can adjust the ski boots, poles and helmet. in the evening we will bring everything to your accommodation.

In our system, only one discount can be taken into account on the online booking. But you can be sure that you will always get the highest discount!

So if you would get an online discount with 10%, but you have a discount code with which you get 15% discount, you will automatically get the higher discount after entering – so the 15%. The different discount promotions are not cumulative.

Unfortunately, this is not possible online. Only full days are offered here. In this special case, please contact the RENTertainer on site and clarify this with them. You can find the contact details in the menu item “Locations”.

In our Intersport Rent stores in Val Gardena you can also pay in the store when you pick up your equipment. Please note, however, that in most cases online payment saves you money and the trip to the cash desk on site and therefore you are also faster on the slopes.

If you book online, you will receive a 10% discount on early bookings for winter equipment. We recommend starting your booking online – the discounts will be displayed immediately.

– Reduced child rates: Children and teenagers up to 14 years of age benefit from special reduced rental prices.

The booking confirmation is sent automatically within 5 minutes after completing the booking process to the email address provided.
If you have not received the email yet, please check the following:

  • Payment status: Verify that the payment transaction was completed successfully.

It is always possible to modify your booking in due time before the first rental day. To do so, send us an email at info@valgardenasport.com with the changes you want. This way, we can adjust the rental period, the number of shoes, the rental location, add new products, remove a person, etc.
All winter bookings include cancellation insurance, which guarantees free cancellation up to 2 days before your arrival.

Online, you can get a 10% discount for early bookings. We issue a discount code for groups of over 20 people. A discount code is provided by INTERSPORT Rent’s cooperation partners, such as local accommodations, business partners, or large organizations. Yes, at any time! If you notice on the slopes that the boot pinches or is uncomfortable, come back to our store. We will replace it with another model and won’t let you go until you feel completely comfortable. After all, we want you to enjoy your time on the slopes.

Rental prices vary depending on several factors:

  • Type of equipment: skis, snowboard, cross-country skis, or accessories only (ski boots, helmet, protectors).

  • Rental duration: the daily price decreases when the equipment is rented for multiple days.

Yes, the refund is 100%  (valid up to 2 days before pickup). Please notify us as soon as possible so the equipment isn’t reserved for the canceled booking.

Yes. Early termination of the contract is possible by returning the rented equipment, but without refund of the agreed rental fee. Refunds are granted only in case of illness or injury, upon presentation of a local medical certificate.

Yes, to obtain a refund for the remaining rental period, a certificate from a local doctor or hospital is required.

In Selva di Val Gardena, you can find the new ski storage with heated lockers, conveniently located in front of the Ciampinoi cable car valley station.
In Santa Cristina, you can deposit rented equipment for free at our center, even though personal heated lockers are not available.

Winter equipment (skis/snowboard) can be picked up for free from 4:00 PM on the day before the rental starts.
Note: This service is not available for bicycles in summer, as they require cleaning, inspection, and overnight charging.

Yes, ski or snowboard service (base repair, edges, waxing) is included in the rental price. All additional services during the rental period are free at INTERSPORT. The equipment is already serviced at pickup.

For a worry-free holiday, you can add the “Carefree Package” for an additional 10% of the rental price.
